Psalm 29:11

The Lord will give strength to His people;

The Lord will bless His people with peace.

When we have a revelation of God and His word, it strengthens our faith. We will understand and trust what God has shown us and know that He will answer our prayers. Peace comes through understanding and reassurance from God. Revelation only happens when we study the word and spend time seeking God. God enjoys our company and loves to reward those who love Him.

Romans 16:20

The God of peace will crush Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.

Sometimes we have to stand while God works on our behalf. We show God our faith and grow stronger in our trust in the truth of the word. We serve a big God who created the world and who responds to our faith and changes our circumstances. Miracles happen because we believe in the miracle maker.

Isaiah 26:3

You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts You.

When we are in peace over something, we are assured of the answer. That means that no matter the storm beating at the door we know that it will not cause any damage. We remind ourselves of God’s promises, pray the word, and stand because we know the answer is coming. Keep the mind focused on God’s word, and He will keep us in perfect peace.

1 John 11-12

Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. No one has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God abides in us, and His love has been perfected in us.

God is the example of love toward us, and we are meant to be examples of that love with others. Just as we were drawn to God through the love, He showed us by using regular, ordinary people.   Love changes us on the inside, and people around us are significantly affected in positive ways. God can only reach the people who need to hear of His love through us.

Romans 6:14-16

For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under the law but under grace. What then? Shall we sin because we are not under law but under grace? Certainly not! Do you not know that to whom you present yourselves slaves to obey, you are that one’s slaves who you obey, whether of sin leading to death, or obedience leading to righteousness?

If we sin and allow ourselves to stay in sin, then sin becomes the master. Sin will keep us trapped and say there is no way out. Grace frees us from sin, and with the word of God shows the way of righteousness. Our choice is either to obey God’s word and thrive or obey sin that leads to death.

John 3:16

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

Sometimes, we forget the cost of our salvation and how much God loves us to sacrifice Jesus. Jesus paid a price that we could never pay to remove the sin that the sacrifice of sheep could only do temporarily. Our reward is everlasting life from a loving God who only wants the best for us in this life and the next. It should change our perspective on the value of our lives to God. Thanking God for what he did becomes so much easier.

Philippians 4:13

I can do all things through Christ who strengthened me.

God didn’t design us to take on this world alone. He wants to be our ally and helper in everything we do. On those days when we don’t feel we have enough strength, turn to God for the answers. We don’t need to understand how God is going to provide for us. We just need to know that God is working on our behalf. Our minds can never comprehend all the different ways that God can supply for us, so just rest and let God work.

John 6:35

Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst.”

What we believe is the path our lives will follow, and we can’t fake it. With God, our results will mirror our belief; if we do what the bible says, we will see the results the word says. God wants to take care of us in this life and have a close relationship with Him. This relationship relies on us doing our part, turning to God, so He can do His part, taking care of us.

John 8:36

If the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.

When Jesus sets us free with salvation, we no longer have to revisit our old ways. Our expectation that we are not alone and that there is an answer to our problems should increase. Every day we can walk closer with God and live our lives free of the bonds of this world. Keep turning to the Lord every day for the answers and keep a straight forward focus.

John 3:17

For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.

Jesus came into this world to save us from our sins by being our example and our teacher. Until a person reads the bible and studies its teaching, they just don’t know the difference between the right and wrong path. If Jesus came and condemned people for their sins, they probably wouldn’t have wanted to listen. But, Jesus walking in love and teaching the word moved hearts by His example.
