Hebrews 11:1,6

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

Our lives are controlled by what we choose to believe, whether positive or negative, faith or unbelief, trust, or fear. Whether we want to admit it or not, we all have examples in our lives of how what we believed influenced the outcome. Faith in God is the game-changer for our lives to bring about good. If we want to live remarkable lives, we have to develop the God kind of faith. Have faith in God and seek Him, and the rewards will come.

1 John 5:14-15

Now, this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.

Studying the bible is like developing a relationship of trust and understanding with God. We gain confidence and learn how to pray according to His will. We have faith that He hears us and that God will answer those petitions. Trust in God and the word is the key to the answers. We grow in faith, and relationship one answered prayer at a time.

James 1:5-8

If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach and it will be given to him. But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of sea driven and tossed by the wind. For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; he is double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.

Knowledge of God and His promises through the word will bring wisdom into our lives. When we gain understanding of God and His promises, our faith increases. When we believe in faith, the mountains move, and the obstacles disappear. We cannot let doubt enter into our thoughts and minds. Put up the shield of faith to quench the darts of doubt sent by the enemy.

Isaiah 55:8-9

“For My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways My ways,” says the Lord. “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, And My thoughts than your thoughts.”

God is our best resource in this life for wisdom and knowledge. His ways and instruction are to be studied and practiced to help us overcome in this world by faith. God’s ways and thoughts are higher than our ways, and He is our best resource when we need help.  The devil will use doubt, fear, and try to keep us from the wisdom and word of God. Keep the focus on God, and the answer will come.

James 1:5

There is always a better way to do things if we ask God how to do it. We can see one way if we are walking by sight, but faith and wisdom can transform us into world overcomers. The wisdom of God sees every possibility that we can’t see. God has always meant for us to be in partnership with Him.

Proverbs 10-11

When wisdom enters your heart, And knowledge is pleasant to your soul,

Discretion will preserve you; Understanding will keep you.

The wisdom of God has no match. The Lord will give us knowledge and understanding when we seek it like a hidden treasure. He stores up sound wisdom for the upright who walk not like the world but according to the word. God will give to us freely when we ask and seek His face.

Psalm 18-19

The Lord is near to all who call upon Him,

To all who call upon Him in truth.

He will fulfill the desire of those who fear Him;

He also will hear their cry and save them.

God Loves Us. We are His creation and children, and He wants us to have good things in this life. When we call upon God in faith and truth, He will answer us. God didn’t say we wouldn’t see adversity, but He did say he would keep us safe as we walk through it. Fear has no place in our lives when we have the promise of God to be near to us.

Proverbs 14:26-27

In the fear of the Lord there is strong confidence,

And His children will have a place of refuge.

The fear of the Lord is a fountain of life,

To turn one away from the snares of death.

God can see everything going on in our lives and guide us around any ditch or pothole. When we respect the Lord and His leadership in our lives, we can receive that guidance when we ask for it. We have to turn away from the circumstance and believe in what we don’t see. We have to trust in God, who is all-knowing and keep our focus on Him. The devil will throw all sorts of distractions at us, but a focus on God will defeat any attack.

Proverbs 10:27

The fear of the Lord prolongs days, but the years of the wicked will be shortened.

This world is turning away from God and His wisdom for their lives. Life without God lacks hope, protection and will contain fear, but the fear of the Lord will prolong the days. How? When fearing the Lord, we seek His guidance and wisdom for our lives. God will protect those who fear Him and help them in their times of trouble.

Revelation 4:11

You are worthy, O Lord,

To receive glory and honor and power;

For You created all things,

And by Your will they exist and were created.

This world didn’t just appear or evolve. God created this world with so many beautiful details and beauty. God planned this world for us and planned our lives from the beginning of creation. God is worthy of the glory, honor, and power for His creation. God loves us that much that He gave us life. Praise Him today for all the wonder and possibilities of our lives.
