Psalm 130:5

I wait for the Lord, my soul waits, And in His word I do hope.We wait on the Lord with the expectation and hope that the word of God is true and faithful. Our soul waits with the expectation that what we pray for according to God’s word will come to pass. We have confidence and peace as we remind ourselves of the promises of God. We don’t let doubt or fear enter our thoughts and speak the word only.

Hebrews 10:23

Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.

Bible hope is having a confident expectation in the promises of God and believing that what God says in His word, He can do. This hope is a relationship of trust and confidence built up on the inside man through faith and revelation from the word of God. That is faith. The God kind of faith.

Habakkuk 2:3

For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, It will not tarry.

People sometimes don’t understand a God created vision because it is a vision for our lives. Not everyone has the same view or will support our vision.  If we want the vision to come to pass, we have to believe God and not give up. Time will try and drag things out to make us give up hope. We need to remember that the vision has an appointed time and that God is arranging things on our behalf. Guard the vision until it manifests.

Hebrews 11:1

So Jesus answered and said to them, “Have faith in God.” “For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.”

The God kind of faith. We develop this kind of faith by meditating the word. The meditation on the word brings revelation, and revelation increases our confidence. Our words are meant to mean something, and our words have power behind them to change circumstances. It takes faith in God and faith in our hearts to do this. Build up the faith on the inside and pray in belief on the outside and watch God work.

Psalm 47:1

Clap your hands, all you nations; shout to God with cries of joy.

Joy is a sign of our faith. When we have joy and praise the Lord amid trials, it means we are trusting in the Lord to see us through. Praise and worship become a weapon in our arsenal of faith. Joy fills our hearts and raises our confidence and draws us closer to God.

Romans 15:13

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

When we trust in the Lord, we have peace and joy. Our focus is on God, and we do not fear the future or the circumstance. We know that God is working on the answer to the problem. The Holy Spirit will cause us to overflow with hope as our faith stands, knowing we have the answer.

2 Corinthians 10:5

Casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ.

Do you ever notice than when the devil starts to attack, he uses arguments and half-truths? The goal is to get us to doubt God’s word and His promises. We are to cast down the argument and anything he says to make us question the bible. The best thing to do is to focus our thoughts on the word and speak it out loud and clear out the doubts the devil tries to put in our minds.

Proverbs 13:18

Poverty and shame will come to him who disdains correction, but he who regards rebuke will be honored.

In life, we will make mistakes, and we all do, which is how we learn. As we learn, we will be corrected in the way we should go. If our spirit is unwilling to take correction, we will keep repeating the same mistake over again to our shame. God understands that we make mistakes and will teach us the way to go and will honor us when we pay attention and learn from Him.

Joshua 1:7

Only be strong and very courageous, that you may observe to do according to all the law which Moses My servant commanded you; do not turn from it to the right hand or to the left, that you may prosper wherever you go.

We are to be strong and courageous in our lives because we will have adversities. However, God has given us the bible to guide us and keep us safe. Our goal is to maintain our focus and trust in the word of God. Don’t let the distractions of life pull us away from time in the word. Our success comes from our diligence from believing and speaking the Word over our lives.

Isaiah 9:6-7

For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given; and the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of His government and peace there will be no end. Upon the throne of David and over His Kingdom, to order it and establish it with judgment and justice from that time forward, even forever.  The zeal of the Lord will perform this.

Merry Christmas!
