Luke 17:6

So the Lord said, “If you have faith as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be pulled up by the roots and planted in the sea,’ and it would obey you.”

The Lord said if we have faith with all the potential of a mustard seed. The scripture isn’t referring to the size of the mustard seed, but the potential of seed faith. This isn’t head faith, but revelation faith from meditating on the word of God. It comes down to what we believe and how much we want to promises of God in our lives.

Luke 19:10

The Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost.

Sometimes the best way to witness to the lost if to just listen to their personal story. They are looking for something, and their road seems full of turns and disappointments. We are ambassadors for Jesus showing we care and not judging their faults and failures, because at some points in our lives we may have been just like them. The Son of Man came to seek the lost, not condemn.

John 14:21

He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him.

A relationship with God will be the best one we ever have! When we love someone, we want to learn everything about them and how to please them. That is the same way our relationship should be with God. When we develop a close relationship with Jesus, He will show us more of Him and a more profound revelation of the word.  

2 Corinthians 9:8

God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.

Sometimes we forget how able God is to provide for our needs. God planned this world and set aside everything needed for His work to be done. Once we learn this fact and take is into our hearts, then we can trust in the vision and the plan. We don’t need to know the how or when! We just need to trust that God will provide.

2 Corinthians 4: 8,9

We are hard pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed.

The bible never said that we wouldn’t have opposition in our lives. However, it is very clear about how it will help us through those times. God said He would never leave us or forsake us when we call out to Him. Our faith in His word and promises will open doors that have always been closed. We will not be destroyed or in despair, if we keep confessing the word of God.

Deuteronomy 28: 13

And the Lord will make you the head and not the tail; you shall be above only, and not beneath, if you heed the commandments of the Lord your God, which I command you today, and are careful to observe them.

We were never meant to live oppressed, downtrodden lives. When we became born again, we joined God’s family and gained access to the benefits of His covenant with Abraham. Our part of the bargain is to listen and obey the commandments of God. Commandments that were created to keep us out of harm’s way so we could prosper. The benefits of God far out way the benefits of sin.

Luke 6:38

Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.

Giving is like planting a seed with all of its potential for growth and increase, no matter what kind of giving it is. If we want to receive kindness from others, we must give kindness. If we want to see an increase in our finances, we must give. A seed will grow and multiply after it is planted, and for a bountiful harvest, we must sow a lot of seed.

Ephesians 4:31,32

Let all bitterness, wrath, anger clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God forgave you.

When we get stirred up with anger, bitterness, and wrath, we will say things that we shouldn’t. We lose our control, and then the devil wins. If we switch it around and not allow the offense to touch our hearts, we can be kind and tenderhearted toward each other. Sometimes we have to decide not to be offended, so we don’t offend. Forgiving others frees us from the hurt and lets us move forward.

Deuteronomy 3:16

Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the Lord your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you. 

When we have absolute confidence in something, we have no fear — the assurance of what we believe in shifts how we view the circumstance. We wait for the circumstance to change, being fully persuaded that God has answered our prayer. We see the success before the manifestation, and like Abraham are fully persuaded. 

Isaiah 55:8,9

“For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways,” says the Lord. “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways, Andy My thoughts than your thoughts.”

Why is renewing our mind with the word of God so important? Because our thoughts will make or break every situation, we come up against. God spoke our planet into existence and planned our lives from end to beginning. Now think of the limits that we allow our thoughts to create for us. God doesn’t know limits to His ability to create. We need to tap into the source of that wisdom and step up into a higher way of thinking and believing.
