Ephesians 1:6,7

To the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved. In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace.

Everyone wants to be accepted and to live in this life without the condemnation of sin. Jesus died to cover our sins and set us free of sin and death. Sin doesn’t increase our lives but decreases the possibilities in our lives. Without the grace of God and His forgiveness, we would remain stuck in troubles. Praise the Lord for His mercy and willingness to show us the way.

Acts 5:29

Peter and the other apostles answered and said: “We ought to obey God rather than men.”Every day the world tries to get us to conform to the fleshly way of thinking. When we know what God stands for and His righteousness, we will be able to stand against the pressure. The opinion of man changes rapidly, but 

Psalm 143:10

Teach me to do Your will,

For You are my God;

Your Spirit is good.

Lead me in the land of uprightness.    

We never stop learning even as the years pass by. To keep growing and learning about God, we need to reach out to Him and the word. God teaches us through His Word, and we learn when we practice what it says. Faith needs to be practiced on small things every day. Asking God to teach us something from His word as we read the bible. God only waits for us to draw near. 

Romans 8:6-8

To be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be. So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God.

Our Spirit is meant to control us, not our flesh. Have you noticed that when we get into a situation and react in the flesh, it just makes the outcome worse? Peace is never maintained in anger. We make better decisions in peace than with internal strife. Fear doesn’t have faith and can’t move a mountain. A carnal mind doesn’t want what is right but what it can get right now.

Ephesians 1:6

Praise God for all the good He is going to do in your life today and through your life. We have a purpose-designed by God, and when we live that purpose, our lives feel fulfilled. One purpose is to give God praise. God brought us into the kingdom and saved us through the sacrifice of Jesus. By grace, are we saved through faith.

Proverbs 10:22, 24

The blessing of the Lord makes us rich, and He adds no sorrow with it. The fear of the wicked will come upon him, And the desire of the righteous will be granted.

God blesses the righteous and adds no sorrow with it. When we follow God, He will bless us with safety, wisdom, wealth, and health. The difference is we will understand where our blessing come from and be thankful to God for them. The wicked strive to create their own blessings and live a life in constant worry of losing them.

Psalm 91:15

He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him.

If we settle it within ourselves that God is always with us and never alone, our choices change. God never said that we wouldn’t have troubles. He did say that He would help us through them. Faith works by believing in what we don’t see and trusting that our circumstances will change.

Isaiah 65:24

It will come to pass that before they call, I will answer; and while they are still speaking, I will hear them.

If the devil can make us feel alone in our struggle, we will keep silent. Our prayers are powerful, and our words meant to create good things in our lives.  Our faith will move any obstacle when we believe in faith. Remind yourself of this that God is walking so close to you that He can hear you before you call and will answer while you speak. 

Isaiah 56:1

Keep justice, and do righteousness, for My salvation is about to come, and My righteousness to be revealed.

What would this world look like if the Christian community was removed? It would be a lawless and violent place to live. We are still here and are meant to maintain justice and righteousness. We are not intended to conform to the world but transform it with our influence. We are the hedge that keeps the evil at bay until Jesus returns.

Psalm 55:22

Cast your burden on the Lord, and He shall sustain you; He shall never permit the righteous to be moved.

Have you ever noticed the more we worry about a problem, the bigger it becomes? Most of the time, what we imagine in our thoughts never come true and only rob us of our health and a sound mind. Stop the devil from stealing from your peace and start speaking the word. Practice quenching the doubt darts and cast your burden on the Lord. The more we practice and focus on Jesus, the easier it will be to walk through the tidal wave dry.
