John 14:12

Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My father.

We are to be bold with using the Word of God in our lives. We are to be bold in believing the Word of God for our lives. The world just accepts the troubles that come its way, but, we are to overcome difficulties with the word. We are to be set apart and different by believing that we can do what God says we can do.

Proverbs 3:26

The Lord will be your confidence,

And will keep your foot from being caught.

We can be confident in the Lord because He gives us the answer to the problem before they ever appear. We don’t worry about what is ahead of us because we know that God has already made a way for us. When we have confidence in the Lord and understanding of the bible, we know that He will keep us safe.

Hebrews 4:15,16

For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in the time of need.

God never intended for us to have to face this world and its temptations by ourselves. The bible gives examples of people who sinned and received grace and mercy from Him. God also says we can come boldly to the throne of grace in our time of need. Jesus is our High Priest and the key to our salvation and forgiveness of our sins and can sympathize with everything we go through.

Philippians 4:6,7

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Fear is a liar, and to be anxious is to be in fear about something. When we are anxious we usually are imagining an outcome that isn’t real or hasn’t even happened. When we focus in prayer and thanksgiving, we ask God to work on our behalf, so we have a right end. Which says we don’t fear because we have faith in God, and that keeps our minds and hearts in peace.

3 John 2

I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.

Our soul learns and grows just as we have from growing from child to adult. And we are still growing in knowledge as we age. Our soul does the same thing as we study the word and learn from fellowship with God and going to church. Just as we don’t want to stay as a child, our soul needs to learn and develop so we may prosper and flourish on this earth.

Matthew 6:14, 15

If you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

Forgiveness is a big deal with God. Partially, because God shed the blood of His son Jesus for the forgiveness of our sins and because it blocks the ability for blessings to flow. Decide to forgive before offenses come no matter what they may be. Decide before it happens that benefits from God are more important. God did.

Mathew 5:13

You are the salt of the earth; but the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men.

Salt elevates the flavor of whatever it is sprinkled on and can it can be used to preserve. We are supposed to walk according to the word and set ourselves apart with our lives. Our lives show the season of the word when we walk by faith. Our faith walk should set us apart and be an influence for the good for those around us.

Proverbs 16:21-23

The wise in heart will be called prudent, And sweetness of the lips increases learning. The heart of the wise teaches his mouth, And adds learning to his lips.

The devil tries to deceive us and tell us we have no power, and it doesn’t matter what we say. However, when we line our words and speaking up with the Bible, we become a force for good. When we speak the word in prayer, angels go to work for us. We are not alone, but in prayer have joined with God to redeem the circumstances from bad to good.

Mathew 12:36-37

But I say to you that every idle word men may speak, they will give account of it in the day of judgment. For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.

Our speaking was designed first to be a creative force for the word, not just for conversation. This means idle words are words that don’t produce because they are not based on faith. When we speak contrary or in fear predicting a bad ending to a circumstance, we are speaking idle words. We are either justified by our faith words or condemned by idle words.

Proverbs 6:22,23

When you roam, they will lead you; When you sleep, they will keep you; And when you awake, they will speak with you. For the commandment is a lamp, And the law a light; Reproofs of instruction are the way of life.

Most of the time, we forget that we are not alone. God is always with us and His angels there working on our behalf. The word is meant to be a light in the darkness and a lamp to lead us in the right direction. The word never sleeps and keeps working to bring us blessings. We will always have ups and downs, but we are never alone as we walk through it.
