Philippians 4:6,7

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Fear is a liar, and to be anxious is to be in fear about something. When we are anxious we usually are imagining an outcome that isn’t real or hasn’t even happened. When we focus in prayer and thanksgiving, we ask God to work on our behalf, so we have a right end. Which says we don’t fear because we have faith in God, and that keeps our minds and hearts in peace.
