Mathew 8:17

That is might be fulfilled, which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities and bare our sicknesses.

The more we see the truth of the word of God, the less the devil can defeat us.  The burdens of this life so easily slip in, and we pick up some thought that the devil shoots in our direction to get us to doubt.  Then some symptoms or a difficultly and an obstacle than come out of nowhere, and we doubt.  The word remains the same firm and true to our lives.  Our eyes sometimes need to refocus on that truth and shut the world out.

Romans 4:25

Who was delivered for our offenses, and was raised again for our justification.  

We, the people of God, have been delivered from carrying the burdens of this life.  The only reason we still carry them is that we don’t know we don’t have to.  The renewing of our mind every day is essential because the devil keeps throwing distractions up in our faces.  Every day we should carry the victory of the cross in our hearts, keeping our focus on the truth of the word.

Isaiah 53:3

He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief; and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.

Jesus was that man despised and rejected of men.  He came to this earth and took our sorrows and griefs, so we no longer have to bear them.  The sacrificial lamb that loved us so much to die on the cross so we may live.  A love for us on a scale that we cannot comprehend.  Today lay the burdens down at the cross and remember that Jesus took them on the cross so we can walk free on this earth.  

Isaiah 53:5

But he was bruised for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.  

A long time ago and in a land far away, the word proclaimed us free.  The battle was won by God proclaiming a savior through Isaiah to redeem the people from their transgressions.  God made the way all we have to do is believe.  When we received our salvation, we received our healing, and our sins were wiped clean.  Glory to God!

Romans 6:17,18

But God be thanked that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you.  Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.  

Sin always tries to set itself as something fun and friendly, and then somehow, it takes over, and we become slaves.  Praise the Lord that God sent Jesus to set us free from having to walk in sin.  We no longer have to live in confusion and fear of our life’s direction.  Being a servant to righteousness is walking in freedom free from a life on the edge of failing.  Thank you, Jesus, for redeeming our lives.

2 Corinthians 9:8

God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.  

The world system says we must work for everything we have.  God’s system of sowing and reaping says God can multiply provision for us.  God wants to be our source and provider, but we have to renew our minds to how Gods’ system works.  We have to trust that what God says He means.  The only work we should be doing is increasing our faith.  

Mathew 5:6

Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled.

Blessed are those that seek to live after God’s will and not their own.  When a person seeks to draw closer to God and hunger for right standing, they shall be filled as they open themselves to hear the counsel and instruction of God.  

Psalm 91:1-2

He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.  I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust.”

When we turn to God in prayer, we can dwell in the secret place of the Most High.  We can run under His wings for protection as we confess the words over our situation.  The Lord will comfort us as we put our trust in Him in all circumstances, large and small.  We were never meant to have to walk through this life alone without help and guidance.

John 3:3

Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”  

Being born again is a belief in something bigger than ourselves. When we make this decision to be born again, we trust in what we cannot see and hope in the promises of eternal life with God through Jesus.  Jesus became the lamb and took our sins once, and for all that, we may attain eternal life.
