Therefore, believers, be all the more diligent to make certain about His calling and choosing you (be sure that your behavior reflects and confirms your relationship with God); for by doing these things, you will never stumble (in your spiritual growth and will live a life that leads others away from sin).

As we keep practicing our faith and developing our spirits, our character grows. When we strive to live a virtuous life, we follow Jesus’ example. It comes down to being doers of the word and letting our actions confirm our faith. It may take diligence and fortitude when we are opposed, but the rewards are worth it.
