Above all, have fervent and unfailing love for one another, because love covers a multitude of sins (it overlooks unkindness and unselfishly seeks the best for others).

Our faith depends on our love for one another. When we love, we do not get easily offended or say things that cause strife or hurt. We love because God first loved us; it is His commandment, and this love helps us avoid sin.
