Isaiah 43:2

When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they will not overwhelm you. When you walk through fire, you will not be scorched, nor will the flame burn you.

When we plug into the Word and stay connected to God, we have the reassurance of His presence in our lives. We don’t have a distant God but one who wants to be involved in our lives. God doesn’t want us to be afraid or feel alone but know He is walking with us.

Psalm 9:10

And those who know Your name (who have experienced Your precious mercy) will put their confident trust in You, for You, O Lord have not abandoned those who seek You.

What we consistently trust in matters for our present and our future. God will not leave or abandon us when we rely on Him. God is the reassurance for our daily life and wants us to succeed. We are important to Him, and He created us talented and unique.

Romans 8:26

In the same way the Spirit (comes to us and) helps us in our weakness. We do not know what prayer to offer or how to offer it as we should, but the Spirit Himself (knows our need and at the right time) intercedes on our behalf with sighs and groanings too deep for words.

God designed us to have a relationship with Him! The relationship is for our benefit to help us overcome the obstacles, small or large, in our daily lives. Our prayers are essential, and our prayers are a lifeline of help from God as the Holy Spirit intercedes on our behalf. God turns our weakness into strength, and our prayers open the door to our Helper.

Hebrews 3:12

Take care, brothers and sisters, that there not be in any one of you a wicked, unbelieving heart (which refuses to trust and rely on the Lord, a heart) that turns away from the living God.

Trust is essential to God for our prayers to be answered. Suppose we only know some Gods’ promises to be able to trust in Him. Then we need to study the Word until we do. We have a part to play, and keeping a believing heart for the promises of God is our responsibility. We can transform our hearts with time in the Word and remove all doubt and believe.

Psalm 103:20

Bless the Lord, you His angels, you mighty ones who do His commandments, obeying the voice of His Word!

Our faith-filled words give commands to the angels to work on our behalf. Our daily confession is our gateway to conquering and overcoming obstacles. God’s Word will change our circumstances and keep us motivated and in faith. It is our confession of faith that overcomes and leads to our provision.

Psalm 145:18-19

The Lord is near to all who call on Him. To all who call on Him in truth (without guile). He will fulfill the desire of those who fear and worship Him (with awe-inspired reverence and obedience); He also will hear their cry and will save them.

When we have a problem hearing God or getting our prayers answered, we need to check our hearts. Are we in reverence toward God? God will not answer our prayer if our motivation is not according to the Word. Changing our hearts and getting in line with God takes a second.

Jeremiah 33:3

Call to Me and I will answer you, and tell you (and even show you) great and mighty things, (things which have been confined and hidden), which you do not know and understand and cannot distinguish.

God is a wealth of knowledge for faith and our lives. He sees all, and our minds cannot comprehend all the world around us. When we ask for help, God will teach and help us to understand. We should not let ourselves be discouraged but ask God to send wisdom and understanding for our personal faith growth.

Isaiah 44:3

For I will pour out water on him who is thirsty, and streams on the dry ground; I will pour out My Spirit on your offspring and My blessing on your descendants.

One Word from God raises a low spirit and revitalizes the faith. We all have times when we feel dry and lacking in faith. The encouragement we receive from God when we ask for it will change our attitude and direction. When we open ourselves to the Word and hear God’s voice, we will refresh and encouraged.

Ephesians 2:19-20

So you are no longer strangers and aliens (outsiders without rights of citizenship), but you are fellow citizens with the saints (God’s people), and are members of God’s household, having been built on the foundation of apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus Himself as the Cornerstone.

We are in the family of God! The more we study and remind ourselves of the benefits of being in the family, the greater our faith will be. We are not left out or abandoned; God wants us to be active. Our confidence is greater for a successful life when we are grounded and built up in the foundation of the Word.

Isaiah 40:31

But those who wait for the Lord (who expect, look for, and hope in Him) will gain new strength and renew their power; they will lift up their wings (and rise up close to God) like eagles (rising toward the sun); they will run and not become weary, they will walk and not grow tired.

When we trust the Lord in faith, we stop trying to accomplish our own miracles. When we believe God has heard our prayer and wait in faith for the answer. We rest and stop worrying because we have developed faith in the Word.
