Proverbs 13:7,11

There is one who makes himself rich, yet has nothing; and one who makes himself poor, yet has great riches.  Wealth gained by dishonesty will be diminished, but he who gathers by labor will increase.

God’s system of gain in this life is always the honest way.  When we work and are reliable, we will be rewarded.  The bible never says we will be rewarded by dishonesty or corruption.  We should never be jealous of those who are making gain through deceit because they usually come to a sad end.  Keep going in this life, and your honest work will be rewarded.

John 14:27

Peace I leave you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give you.  Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

The peace of God passes all understanding and creates in us a sure heart to His promises.  When we choose to live in faith according to Gods’ word we will live in peace.  God never said we wouldn’t have problems but that He would be with us to help solve the problems.  Don’t let your heart be troubled and focus on the word to bring you revelation knowledge for the answer.

Ephesians 4:26-27

“Be angry and do not sin”: do not let the sun go down on your wrath, nor give place to the devil.

We all get angry sometimes, but if we hold onto that anger and harbor unforgiveness, we sin.  If we get into a situation where feelings are hurt, and we hold onto the anger and resentment by meditating on the perceived wrong we will give place to the devil.  Forgiveness releases the anger and allows God also to be able to forgive us. No one wants to stay bound to a bad situation.   “Be angry and do not sin.”

Psalm 14:1-3

God is our refuge and strength,

A very present help in trouble.

Therefore we will not fear,

Even though the earth be removed,

And though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;

Though its waters roar and be troubled,

Though the mountains shake with its swelling. Selah

God is our refuge and our strength therefore we will not fear because we know in whom we believe.  He will be with us in our troubles waiting to hear and answer our prayers for help.  Don’t let fear come over you but believe in God when the world around us is in tumult.  Let your faith be in God, and you will have the victory.

Philippians 4:6-7

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplications, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

In case of emergency do not fear, but PRAY.  Fear swings wide open the door to the devil so he can come in and what we say about our circumstance is what we believe.  Prayer, made in Faith, allows God to move on the scene and help us when we speak in faith. The peace comes when we know He hears us and Jesus will guard our heart.  Thank God for our answer and praise Him and close the door to all fear.

Galatians6:7-8

Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will reap.  For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life.

When our lives don’t seem to be producing the way we want we have to check the seed we are sowing.  We have more control over our lives then we choose to believe sometimes.  We must remind ourselves to live life with purpose and intently planting good seed, so we reap good seed.  Sowing to the flesh destroys our present and future, and we remain unfulfilled.  When we feed our Spirit good seed, we will receive blessing and bear good fruit in this life.

Ephesians 3:16

That He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man.

God has the power to strengthen our Spirit in the inner man.  The more we feed our spirit and renew our mind to the word of God the stronger we become.  We all need this strength on a daily basis to make decisions and function in our families and work.  The inner man will rule and reign in this life when we let Jesus flow through us freely.

Psalm 71:8,14

Let my mouth be filled with Your praise

And with Your glory all the day.

But I will hope continually,

And will praise You yet more and more.

The power of Praise cannot be understated because we show faith when we praise God.  God deserves our praise and worship because He is working on our behalf and He sent His son to the cross do die for our sins. Praising God in the midst of a battle helps us remember where our strength comes from.  Our hope rises within us as we draw closer to God with praise and worship.

Deuteronomy 10:12

And now, Israel, what does the Lord your God require of you, but to fear the Lord your God, to walk in His ways and to love Him, to serve the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul.

When we learn to fear the Lord and walk in His ways, we do it because we understand God’s benefits. When we learn the goodness, love, and protection behind God’s commandments, we realize that our lives will be only satisfied with Him in it.  Once, we understand how God works serving Him with our heart and soul becomes simple.  Meditate on the word of God, and He will show us how simple serving Him really is.

1 Kings 3:14

So if you walk in My ways, to keep My statutes and My commandments, as your father David walked, than I will lengthen your days.

We all want to know how to live longer and succeed in this life.  The word of God is the answer and faithfully meditating on the word will build our spirits up.  When problems appear, we already have God’s answer to them from the bible.  We need to learn how God wants us to live and study His ways and keep His commandments. Why? Because His commandments keep us living long and strong.
