Philippians 4:6,7

Be anxious for nothing but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Fear begins with a thought, a little seed that tries to plant in the brain and grow.  God tells us instead of letting the thought grow or be anxious focus the mind on prayer to Him.  Find what the bible says about the situation and pray that in faith. The peace of God will then settle in the heart and mind then make requests unto God in faith according to Gods’ word.  Stand against the darts of the enemy and knock them down.

Psalm 119:28

My soul melts from heaviness; strengthen me according to Your word.

The word will carry the heaviest load and provides comfort when we need it.  The word will build us up and lead us in the right direction. Our job is to study the word and trust that God means what He says.  Today, throw away all the doubts and take God at His word.

Ephesians 3:16

The He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man.

Just like a child that needs to be fed good food to grow up strong so do our spirits need to be fed the excellent word of the bible.  Our spirits need the leadership that God provides from His word.  The word is knowledge and power for us to increase and reign in this life.  Strengthen the inner man, and our faith strengthens with revelations of Jesus Christ.

Psalm  23:3

He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake.

God is on our side in the good times, bad and the in between.  The times when we feel we should be doing better, but the distractions keep pulling us away.  Jesus calls us back in those times reaching out and warming our hearts to remind us of His benefits and love.  Even though we have gotten off track God can restore us and move us back in the right direction.

Isaiah 50:7

For the Lord God will help Me;

Therefore I will not be disgraced;

Therefore I have set My face like a flint,

And I know that I will not be ashamed.

Believing is a decision. The best time to believe that God can do something for us is before we get into a tight position.  What we believe at that moment will either bring us to victory or defeat.  What is flint?  A stone that was used as cutting tool for a knife before they had metal.  When we set our face like flint, we believe and cut out any doubt that would try to persuade us otherwise.

Ephesians 2:4,5

But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved.)

God sent His son Jesus to die for our sins and stand in our place so we could stand with Him.  All the old sin and the old self have passed away, and we have been made new.  When the devil tries to remind us of what we were, we need to remind him of who we are in Jesus.  Cast down the doubt he tries to put inside and speak the light of the word and defeat the doubt.

Romans 3:23

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.

Easter is coming and a reminder that Jesus died for our sins.  Without the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross, we would never be able to be redeemed from our sins.  Love conquered death and freed us to live.  Remind yourself that once we are born again, God does not remember our sins anymore, and we are new and washed clean.  Don’t let the devil bring up the past and keep you bound, you are forgiven and free.

Mathew 10:8

Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons.  Freely you have received, freely give.

Jesus came to this earth to demonstrate the power of God working through man. A time is coming when the Church will need to operate in the power that Jesus demonstrated to us before He left. We need to develop our faith and have the God kind of faith powered by love to reach the lost. God gave to us freely, and so we should freely give.

Mathew 6:20,21

Lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal.  For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

What do you value most? Does it tug at your heart?  When we treasure the commandments of God, our hearts will feel the tug.  The Bible is a treasure map of peace, hope, love, joy, prosperity and healing for everyone without prejudice.  When we dig into the word, we lay up for ourselves treasures in heaven plus peace of mind on this earth.

Luke 6:38

Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom.  For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.

We all want to be blessed in this life, but sometimes we forget that we have to be a blessing first. Doing good to others just doesn’t benefit them but ourselves as well.  Giving keeps us from getting selfish and greedy, which is why God wants us to give.  When we find ourselves feeling a lack in our lives take inventory and see how much we have been giving.
