Romans 14:8

If we live, we live to the Lord; and if we die, we die to the Lord.  Therefore, whether we live or die we are the Lord’s.

We choose to become Christians because of the promises of God through His word.  We have been saved by the blood of Jesus and can look forward to eternity.  The Lord is always with us and will never leave us or forsake us.  Therefore, we can fulfill our mission on earth and walk guided by Him because we are the Lords.

Luke 4:46

Why do you call Me “Lord, Lord,” and not do the things which I say?

The bible is more than a story or a history, the bible is a life example.  If we want to see changes in our lives we have to study the word of God. We must get the victory in our spirit on the inside before we can take the victory on the outside.  That means we have to develop our faith and do what the Lord says because without faith we can’t please God.  The decision needs to be settled in our spirits that we will be an overcomer instead of overcome.   

Colossians 3:16

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.   

When the word of Christ dwells in us we flourish and grow.  The wisdom of the Lord is better than silver and gold because it keeps us from harm and trouble.  When we as the church grow in the word and pray for each other we bring honor to the Lord.  Jesus said we would do greater works than He did and it starts by us taking the victories of faith on the inside of us and then sharing it with others.

Psalm 121:2-3

My help comes from the Lord,

Who made heaven and earth.

He will not allow your foot to be moved;

He who keeps you will not slumber.

When we keep God at the center of our lives we have a different perspective.  Our lives will not be shaken in the times of trouble by the circumstance as we turn to God for the answers. The world will wonder why we don’t fear but our help comes from the Lord.  He will not allow our foot to be moved but keep us safely when we believe and speak in faith. 

Romans 10:10

With the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

We have a part to play in our relationship with God.  It all began by believing in our hearts and confessing for our salvation.  Our believing and speaking words of faith didn’t stop the day we were saved.  It was just the start.  Salvation and righteousness were the first steps of faith into the Kingdom of God.  We are to keep believing and speaking words of faith and developing in God’s word.

John 8:32,36

You shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.  Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.

Truth. It clears the clutter from the path we are walking on.  The truth of God’s word in the bible for health, finances, fear, attacks from the enemy are all cleared away by the word.  As we study the bible we learn God’s way of overcoming this world and its adversities.  The truth will set us free from bondage and overcome the obstacles. 

2 Peter 3:9

The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.

We can’t give up on the unsaved people of this world because God hasn’t.  He died for the lost and waits patiently for that moment when a person turns to Him.  At some point, we all have searched for the answers and waited to find the truth from God.  Sometimes it was a word from a friend or someone we met who made that difference and led us to repentance.  Patience and kindness was the key to helping us and is the key to assisting others in getting saved.

Matthew 6:34

Do not worry on tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things.  Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.

Worry gets ahead of God and creates problems where there may not be any.  We need to stay in the day that we are in and not let thoughts or ideas the enemy throws at us come into our mind.  If the enemy can get us to worry over something we are not praying to God about it.  Peace begins with faith in Jesus and that He is with us to help us in our times of adversity. 

3 John 1:2

I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.

As our soul grows in the knowledge of the word of God and His ways, so do we.  We learn wisdom for our lives, finances, and health.  We prosper, and it takes time to move away from the old ways and the past, but when we diligently seek the Lord we will see our lives transformed.  Keep going on the path with Jesus and let Him lead us into a closer relationship where we gain the knowledge to transform our lives. 

Romans 5:5

Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

Hope does not disappoint because of the love of God poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit.  When we know that our hope comes from the love of God we can have faith for a victory.  Our faith was given to us by God to fulfill His purpose for us in this life.  Our dreams, hopes, ideas, and future were all a plan of God.  He gives us the confidence by His love to complete our call in this life.
