John 3:17

For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.

This world is lost and confused, and in that confusion is seeking the answers.  God sent Jesus not to condemn but to save, and now we are to follow that example.  We may not always know the right things to say to reach the lost, but we are meant to plant a seed.  Our experiences and what we have learned in this life will help us to reach out in compassion and show the Love of Christ to others.

Proverbs 24:3, 4

Through wisdom a house is built,

And by understanding it is established;

By knowledge the rooms are filled

With all precious and pleasant things.

The wisdom given to us from God is a powerful thing.  When we turn to God for the answers and wait on Him, the devil cannot defeat us.  That is why the devil doesn’t want us to gain knowledge from the Bible or to Pray.  We establish our lives and our future when we step back from what we think we know and let God tell us what He knows.

Joshua 1:8

The Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it.  For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.

Sometimes it is easier to study verses of the Bible out loud to memorize them because we don’t know when we will need them.  When we want to do something well, we will practice so it will become automatic. That is what God is saying here to practice, so His directions become automatic in times of stress we instantly turn to God, and His Word will come out of our mouths.

Matthew 10:8

Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons.  Freely you have received, freely give.

Our job as believers is to grow in faith so we can see that Matthew 10:8 is talking to us.  We need to believe that God gave us the measure of faith not only for ourselves but to help others.  The devil wants to keep us in a small, tightly wrapped box and defeated. The less we believe God and the more we believe the lies of the devil, the less likely we will ever take the authority that God provides us in His Word.  Today take the Word and start kicking open the box.

Luke 6:38

Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom.  For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.

Giving is such a good thing for us to do.  Giving keeps us balanced and away from greed. If we can give items away, that means those things don’t control us.  God is our source, and He gives to us so we can give things away here on earth.  What a witness we become for the goodness of God when we give to others.  It shows the love of God through us, and it will be given back by what measure we decide to give.

2 Timothy 2:13,19

If we are faithless, He remains faithful; He cannot deny Himself.

Nevertheless the solid foundation of God stands, have this seal: “The Lord knows those who are His,” and, “Let everyone who names the name of Christ depart from iniquity.”

Our goal every day should be to renew our minds to the Word of God to keep ourselves from sin.  When we get distracted or busy, it is easy to slip off the path of peace and patience.  We shouldn’t allow our thoughts to just ramble unchecked through our minds.  God is faithful and has given us a way to stay on track by renewing our minds with the Word.

Genesis 28:15

Behold, I am with you and will keep you wherever you go, and will bring you back to this land; for I will not leave you until I have done what I have spoken to you.

The promises of God to those who believe are many.  He has a plan for our lives and will lead us to the right end if we let Him. The world tries to pull us away from those promises and say they are not possible.  The world is never going to guide us to the right end.  God is the only promise we need, and His Word a roadmap to a better life.

Romans 5:5

Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

What are we hoping for? Everyone has dreams and hopes for their lives.  When we hope and have faith and don’t let the devil steal the promises of God from us we will see them come to pass.  Hope does not disappoint because we have the love of God within us.  The Holy Spirit guides us to stay in faith, so what we hope for comes to pass.

1 Corinthians 6:19

Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own?

Being born again means we become the temple of the Holy Spirit.  We are never alone and without help and guidance where ever we go and in whatever we do.  We don’t just get saved we get a new life and family and becomes heirs in Christ.  The Holy Spirit is there to guide us and teach us in the way we should go.

Proverbs 19:23

The fear of the Lord leads to life, and he who has it will abide in satisfaction; he will not be visited with evil.

The fear of the Lord means to reverence Him and have deep respect.  When we respect the Lord, we try to live according to His Word and follow His commandments.  This fear leads to life and will lead to a life of satisfaction and that we won’t be visited with evil.  When we trust in the Lord fear Him and let Him guide us into wise decisions, we will prosper in many ways.
