Philippians 4:9

The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you.

We are to be imitators of Christ on this earth. Jesus spoke to the obstacles in His path using the word to change the circumstances. The world will say we can’t change anything in our way.  Jesus was sent to the earth to show us we can. When we know who we are in Christ that peace gives us the power to overcome and create in this world.

Ephesians 3:17-19

That Christ may dwell in your heart through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height—to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.

Our faith is the key to unlock the door to God. When we root ourselves in the God kind of love with the God kind of faith, we will comprehend our value to God.  God has a purpose for our life, and we all need to know our mission. We need to know the love of Christ, which passes knowledge. As we grow in the knowledge of God, we will be filled with the fullness of God.

1 John 2:17

The world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever.

Lust is a temporary fulfillment for short term thinking and knowledge.  What it provides never lasts and keeps us satisfied no matter what it is. The believer who does the will of God will abide forever.  Why? Because God will give an understanding of what is good and satisfying.  He will show us the path to life.  That is our victory over this world to live according to the Kingdom of God on this earth.  Bring heaven down.

1 John 4:7-9

Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. He who does not love does not know God, for God is love. In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him.

Love is a decision and not a feeling, which is why we have to decide to love one another. Our reactions to bad situations in love set us apart as Christians. Being born again helps us tap into the love nature of God because God is love. Jesus is our earthly example of love dying for our sin nature so we may live the nature of God…the nature of love. The devil has no power against love.

2 Corinthians 10:5

Casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ.

Arguments come from the Devil.  They are those little seeds of doubt that float through our minds that we don’t cast out. If a thought doesn’t line up with the Word of God, we are to get rid of it and cast it down.  A thought proceeds every action we do, whether good or bad, and we can control them.  The knowledge of our abilities and power to control what we think is given to us by God.

Luke 11:33

No one, when he has lit a lamp, puts it in a secret place or under a basket, but on a lampstand, that those who come in may see the light.

Light lets us see what is hidden and chases away the darkness.  We are meant to be light on this earth and represent Jesus.  We show the world what good is and that Gods Word is real by our lives.   As an example of Jesus light to the world, they can see the goodness of God’s Word and that His promises are true.  No one can see in darkness, but the light exposes the path.

Hebrews 11:6

Without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

Faith is the powerhouse to our lives.  The amount of confidence we apply to our relationship with God and His Word will determine whether we overcome and fulfill the plan God has for our lives. We build up our faith by repetition like a bodybuilder uses weights.  The more we increase our use and study of the Bible, the stronger we will become on the inside, and our Faith will build muscle.

John 14:27

Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you.  Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

This scripture tells us that we have the choice of whether we are going to fear or not.  “Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”  God gives us the power in His Word to rule and reign on the earth.  We don’t have to sit passively by and let circumstances bring fear into our lives.  God leaves us His peace for these times so we can overcome any obstacle the fear would try to put in our path.

John 6:63

It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing.  The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.

We are a Spirit we have a soul, and we live in a body.  Our Spirit was meant to rule over our bodies and tell it what to do.  How? By renewing our minds with the Word.  The flesh will make decisions that don’t lead to life and abundance.  We all want a fulfilled life and to reign like the Word of God says.  It begins with the spirit-filled words spoken by Jesus and turning our thoughts away from any temptations of the flesh.

Philippians 4:13

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

Our faith is the generator of action from God.  When we believe in faith, God can cause those things which we pray for to come to pass. Even in our struggle, we don’t have to figure out how God is going to get us through it, we just have to believe He will.  God will give us peace in the struggle when we keep our minds focused on Him.  Let God be the guide in faith, and we will overcome the obstacles.
