Isaiah 55:8,9

“For My thoughts are not your thoughts,

Nor are your ways My ways,” says the Lord.

“For as the heavens are higher than the earth,

So are My ways higher than your ways,

And My thoughts than your thoughts.”

Our thoughts are the lids to our lives. We may not be able to think and vision as high as God, but He has given us the tools and example through Jesus. We are meant to come up to the Jesus level on this earth. We got the power when we were born again. So, as we raise our thoughts, we will raise our ways. God dreams for our lives on such a larger scale than we can even imagine. Catch His dream.

Hebrews 3:14

For we have become partakers of Christ if we hold the beginning of our confidence steadfast to the end.

Faith and believing don’t have a time frame. Sometimes God has to work in the background to bring about what we are praying for, and we can’t see the work going on. We have to have the same strength of believing as when we first prayed until the day of manifestation. We can’t give up no matter the lies the enemy tries to speak into our minds. Don’t listen to the doubt we know we are heading in the right path when the devil attacks what we believe for with doubt.

Habakkuk 2:3

For the vision is yet of an appointed time;

But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie.

Though it tarries, wait for it;

Because it will surely come,

It will not tarry.

When we pray to God, we need to be specific in what we are asking for in our prayer. God doesn’t answer vague prayers, which is why some of our prayers go unanswered. We need to get a vision for the answer, which is where “calleth those things which are not, as though they were” comes into play. As we wait for the manifestation, we stand on faith in the word. Get a vision for what we need, believe it, speak it, and stand according to Gods word.

Deuteronomy 31:6

Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the Lord your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.

When we believe in God and believe what He says in His Word, we don’t believe according to our circumstances. Our faith, as we pray, according to God’s word, will move the mountain. God is by our side, leading us through and rebuking the devourer on our behalf. He will never leave us or forsake us as we believe and speak in faith.

2 Corinthians 4:9

Persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed.

With God on our side, we may get struck down, but we will rise. God promised never to leave us or forsake us. In our times of trouble, He is by our side, hearing our prayers and guiding us through. Don’t give up hope, but stand on the word of God until the answer comes. Circumstances can change with one word from God as we pray in faith for help. Believe, and we shall overcome all the devices of the enemy.

Romans 13:10

Love does no harm to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.

Love brings light into darkness and hope to the sinner. When we love each other, we fulfill the law and walk according to Gods word. Our sin has been covered once and for all by Jesus on the cross. We are at peace with others showing the love of God in our hearts helping each other. Love overcomes all.

Ephesians 4:31, 32

Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.

We distance ourselves from hearing from God when we get into the flesh. It is hard to maintain a close relationship with God when we are angry and to speak evil. The flesh only wants things its way and only sees offenses, and God wants us to forgive each other and be tenderhearted. We realize this world will try to bring us down, but God is trying to lift us above the strife and trouble.

Philippians 4:6,7

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made know to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

We don’t have the power to figure everything out in this life, but God already had the solution before we even had the problem. Sometimes, it can seem like a mountain in itself to turn the problem over to God and trust Him, but, it is the only way to succeed.  When we release it and get into peace, God responds to our faith and will move on our behalf. The peace is our goal, and Jesus will guard our hearts and minds.

Isaiah 32:17

The work of righteousness will be peace, and the effect of righteousness, quietness and assurance forever.

Peace is the gold standard of faith, without peace than something isn’t lining up with God’s plan for our lives. Righteousness comes from constant contact with God’s word through the bible and prayer. Strife never causes us to gain ground in our lives but causes worry, anger, and emotions we don’t need. The peace we gain from walking in righteousness and following God gives us the assurance we need to make the right decisions.

Galatians 3:6,7

Just as Abraham “believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.” Therefore know that only those who are of faith are sons of Abraham.

What is faith? Faith believes God and that what He says is true in our lives. We gain right standing with God when we believe the word and act on it. Faith believes that God will do what He says He will do and that we will have what He says we will have. We don’t have because we don’t believe and speak in faith. Don’t let doubt and lies from the devil steal the promises of God.
