2 Peter 3:18

Grow in grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory both now and forever. Amen

When we grow in the knowledge of God, it leads to revelation knowledge of the word. When we grow in grace, we grow in the unmerited favor of God.   Our time spent reading, praying, worshiping keeps our focus on the promises of God, and we grow spiritually. God needs us to grow so we can gain confidence in His promises so we can represent God here on earth.

Isaiah 30:21

Your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying,

“This is the way, walk in it,”

Whenever you turn to the right hand

Or whenever you turn to the left.

Our lives will never be random when we listen to and count on the guidance of the Lord. God is talking to us all of the time but are we listening to His voice. We will never hear God if it always has to be our way and against the word. We know when we missed the mark if we know God’s word, but we all miss the mark some days. Just step back, repent, and get back to hearing His voice.

Ephesians 3:16

The He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His spirit in the inner man.

Our strength comes from the Lord, and He is with us at all times. We need to build ourselves up with His strength to conquer any conflict or fear that may come into our lives. Our strength comes when we realize that we must depend on God and remove all our ego. When we get out of the way of God, He can work miracles.

2 Peter 1:4

By which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

Without knowledge of God’s words and His promises, people live way below what God says we can have. That is how the devil steals from us is through a lack of knowledge. If we knew we had an inheritance sitting there, would we let it get away from us? No! But that is what happens when we don’t believe God at His word. His promises are not just for a select few but for all for believe on Him.

Exodus 23:22

If you indeed obey His voice and do all that I speak, then I will be an enemy to your enemies and an adversary to your adversaries.

When we don’t have the strength to fight for ourselves, God does. We are God’s children bought and paid for with the blood of Jesus. All that God asks is that we obey His voice and listen to Him when He speaks into our lives. The obeying keeps us out of trouble and under the covenant and God’s protection.

Galatians 6:7-8

Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.

For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life. We are sowing and reaping every day of our lives, whether we recognize it or not. We sow with our attitude, our prayers, and the words we speak. Sowing doesn’t apply to our finances but every area of our life. We need to sow seed for what we believe for. We need to learn the difference between good and bad seed and change. Our goal is to finish our plan that God has on this earth and reap everlasting life.

Psalm 51:6

Behold, You desire truth in the inwards parts, and in the hidden part You will make me to know wisdom.

Truth overcomes and clears out all the confusion. Truth says we are healed when the devil tries to make us think otherwise. Truth says God will provide for all our needs when the circumstances say it isn’t possible. The wisdom from God will bring us revelation to overcome according to the Truth of the word.

Proverbs 25:28

Whoever has no rule over his own spirit

Is like a city broken down, without walls.

We are meant to be the ones ruling our spirit. Bad influences can come from many directions, and if we don’t keep guard on our spirit, we can easily slip into sin. We need to have a daily plan to stay in contact with God and His word. Constant communication with Jesus will keep us clear of trouble become it can start.

Psalm 100:2

Serve the Lord with gladness;

Come in His presence with singing.

God will lift us up when we serve Him with gladness. We draw closer to God in our praise and worship of Him and enter His holy presence.  On those days when the enemy comes pounding on the door. Praise the Lord. Lift your hands and worship to beat back any darkness that tries to invade. Praise the Lord. Break down the barriers and hold back the tide all when we Praise the Lord.

Hebrews 11:6

But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

Faith believes and creates in our lives. Fear and Faith both have to be believed into to work. Fear will take us in the opposite direction of where we want to go. Faith pleases God and brings us toward the promises of God. Our faith puts God to work on our behalf to answer our prayers to Him when we pray according to His word. When we diligently seek the Lord in faith trusting Him, we will be rewarded.
