Psalm 36:7-9

How precious is Your lovingkindness, O God! The children of men take refuge in the shadow or Your wings. They drink their fill of the abundance of Your house; and You allow them to drink from the river of Your delights. For with you is the fountain of life; in Your light we see light.

God loves us without measure, and His will is always for our best. We can take refuge in God’s shadow and find peace and comfort. When the world turns against us and rejects us, God will not. God is the fountain of life and the source of the light of truth. When we finally stand in heaven and feel the love of God, our hearts will be full.

Psalm 37:29-31

The righteous will inherit the land and live in it forever. The mouth of the righteous proclaims wisdom, and his tongue speaks justice and truth. The law of His God is in his heart.

When we keep our focus on the law of God and meditate on the word, we will speak wisdom. Our minds need to stay focused on the positives of Jesus and salvation to overcome the enemy’s attacks. Keep truth and justice in your thoughts and don’t meditate on sinful, nonproductive thoughts.  We can succeed and inherit the goodness of this land when we are willing and obedient to the Word.

Psalm 37:27-28

Depart from evil and do good; and you will dwell (securely in the land) forever. For the Lord delights in justice and does not abandon His saints; they are preserved forever, but the descendants of the wicked will (in time) be cut off.

Sin is a serious matter for God. It opens doors when we fall short of the mark, and we don’t keep to the guidance of the Bible. When we struggle in this life with sickness, lack, infirmities, and depression.  We should check for doors that we opened through sin. God is always waiting for us and willing to help us back to Him through repentance.

Psalm 40:2-3

He brought me up out of a horrible pit and He set my feet upon a rock, steadying my footsteps and establishing my path. He put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our God; many will see and fear and will trust confidently in the Lord.

Our lives will have valleys and mountains to conquer. Some climbs would be impossible if it weren’t for God establishing our feet on the rock and showing us the way. God will lead us to praise for His mercy and love as we travel. As we walk and trust God in these times, we will be a witness for God to others. God is saving us so we can save others.

Psalm 12-13

Restore to me the joy of Your salvation and sustain me with a willing spirit. Then I will teach transgressors Your ways, and sinners shall be converted and return to You.

Remember when we first got saved, and the realization of all that salvation means in our lives? As time passes, we may need restoration of the Joy because we have settled into our faith and not kept the fires burning. God will help us to sustain a willing spirit so we can lead others to salvation as we were led.

Romans 8:16-17

The Spirit Himself testifies and confirms together with or spirit that we (believers) are children of God. And if (we are His) children, (then we are His) heirs also; heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ if indeed we share in His suffering so that we may also share His glory.

We as believers must operate as believers in our daily lives. The word of God says we are heirs and fellow heirs with Christ, but we are operating below our power and authority given to us by God. We accept sin, sickness, lack, and do not prosper as our soul prospers. God lays His best before us, and we need to claim what He has already said is ours.

Romans 8:14-15

For all who are allowing themselves to be led by the Spirit of God are sons of God. For you have not received a spirit of slavery leading again to fear (of God’s judgement) but you have received the Spirit of adoption as sons by which we cry, Abba Father.

When we are led by the Spirit, we are operating in the power of God. We are set free of judgement and fear because the Holy Spirit abides in our hearts. Our lives are not marginal but powerful to stand against the enemy. The devil is afraid of us using our authority and speaking the Word over our families, communities, and the world.

Jeremiah 29:11-12

For I know the plans and thoughts that I have for you, says the Lord, plans for peace and well-being and not for disaster to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call on Me and you will come and pray to Me, and I will hear and I will listen to you.

We may be one individual living among a sea of people, but God still has plans for us. Plans for peace and well-being here in this time and place on earth. We need to remind ourselves daily that we have value in God’s eyes. That God hears our prayers and listens when we call. God Loves US!

Ephesians 1:5

He predestined and lovingly planned for us to be adopted to Himself as (His own) children through Jesus Christ, in accordance with the kind intention and good pleasure of His will to the praise of His glorious grace and favor, which He so freely bestowed in us in the Beloved.

We cannot forget that our lives are meaningful and important to God.  We are not an accident. We are here on purpose, and we matter to God. Our lives are an extension of Jesus and His commandments here on earth. We are vital to fulfilling God’s plan and reaching the lost of this world. Don’t let the turbulence in the world take our eyes off the purpose we have through Jesus.

Ephesians 1:4

Just as (in His love) he chose us in Christ (actually selected us for Himself as His own) before the foundation of the world, so that we would be holy (that is, consecrated, set apart for Him, purpose -driven) and blameless in His sight. In love.  

We have a purpose in the body of Christ, and we were selected. We have many gifts and talents along with our love for God. We can pray, encourage, and support our neighbors and our communities, ensuring that God’s representatives are occupying and thriving until Jesus comes. We have a purpose, and we are vital workers for God.
