Proverbs 2:1-2
My Son, if you will receive my words and treasure my commandments within you, so that your ear is attentive (skillful and godly) wisdom, and apply your heart to understanding (seeking it conscientiously and striving for it eagerly).

We all have full access to God’s wisdom if we seek and ask for it. When we make the word of God a treasure to be sought after, we will be attentive and listen. The modern world pushes easy distractions through technology, convincing us the good we seek can be found there. When we set a guard on our heart and apply it to understanding wisdom, we will succeed and turn away from empty distractions.
