2 Corinthians 5:1

For we know that if our earthly house, this tent, is destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.

As believers, we know and trust that we will live in eternity.  That even as we age, we have a greater future in heaven. God has made us a house, and when we finish our purpose here, we will continue it in heaven.

Philippians 4:8

Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are a good report, if there be any virtue and if there be any praiseworthy—meditate on these things.

Our thoughts can be a great predictor of our future.  What we believe and focus on will either limit us or bring us over the mountain.  If we want to change our life, we must change our focus and improve our confession.  Our lives must be on purpose, and we must control our thoughts for good.

1 Thessalonians 5:8-9

But let us who are of the day be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love, and as a helmet the hope of salvation.  For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ.

God wants us to keep our guard up in Him, so we don’t become downtrodden in the fight.  It is always harder to show love and be a kind example if we are tired from the battle.  The best example is a good example, and we win people to salvation through kindness and love.  Faith and love strengthen our hearts so we can move the hearts of the lost.

2Corinthians 4:8

We are hard pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down but not destroyed.  Therefore we do not lose heart.  Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day.

We have an adversary that works every day against us, but we have a God who has defeated that adversary. We may feel pressed, crushed, and perplexed, but our God is working on our behalf to move us through the circumstance.  Never give up and never give in to feelings of doubt and despair.  Focus on the word and renew the inward Spirit, and overcome it.

Mathew 7:8

For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

Faith opens doors and finds the answers.  When we ask in faith and pray according to God’s word, God will answer our prayer.  We can’t be weak or drawback in indecision, but we must believe that God will reward us when we seek Him.  Sometimes we have to stand up on the inside and tell the devil how big our God is.

Mathew 18:19

Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching anything that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.

The church is a powerful force, and a praying church moves mountains and holds back tides.  The devil doesn’t like a believing church that prays and does everything he can to stop it.  We can’t give up the fight or give in because we are called to join in prayer for each other and the world around us. Let’s join together to change the world for the better together.

Ephesians 3:19

And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.

Jesus loved us so much that He took all our sins and failings on the cross.  That loved nailed to a tree lets us be able to get closer to God and know His ways.  Without that love, we would never be able to be overcomers on this earth.  God can reach down and work on our behalf.  Love sets us free.

Philippians 4:19

But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

We live in a world with two systems, and they are the way of God and the way of man.  The way of man is a road with constant stress, hard work, and worry.  The way of God is peace, favor, and abundant life.  God will supply an excellent job to pay the bills.  He will provide help and direction and calm while in the storm.

Ephesians 1:3

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ.

God through Jesus made available to us all the spiritual blessings. When we renew our minds and grow in knowledge of those promises our eyes open to the truth of the bible.  We must then step out and practice our faith like a child on small things.  Bit by bit and step by step we use the word and develop until we just glance at a mountain and it trembles.

2 Peter 1:3

According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that called us to glory and virtue.

When we increase our knowledge of the ways of God, we grow in trust and faith.  The bible is like an instruction manual for our lives.  It gives us examples of how not to live and how we should behave.  The more we know, the better we can get over the pitfalls that try to come into our lives.
