James 1:6

But he must ask (for wisdom) in faith, without doubting (God’s willingness to help), for the one who doubts is like a billowing surge of the sea that is blown about and tossed by the wind.

We will doubt if we don’t know the promises of God. We will doubt if we haven’t discerned the voice of the enemy in our heads and take his suggestion as our thoughts. We will doubt if we don’t cast down the thoughts in the name of Jesus and believe the lie over the truth of the word. The wisdom and faith are ours and a promise of God, but we must take that promise by faith.

Mathew 21-22

And whatever you ask for in prayer, believing, you will receive.

When our faith and prayers line up with the word of God we will receive our answers. When we diligently seek the Lord and His promises our faith will strengthen and grow. Mountain moving faith can happen with a mustard seed when planted in fertile ground of our spirits. It depends on whether we value the Word or the world.

Mark 9:23

Jesus said to him, “If you can believe? All things are possible for the one who believes.”

When we believe in something we have confidence that it will happen. Our (faith) confidence is based on hearing the word of God. Faith isn’t something we think, it is an active belief. Faith in the Biblical truths of the Bible is an active choice. We must choose to cast down doubts and replace those thoughts with words of faith from the Bible.

Proverbs 3:5-6

Trust in and rely confidently on the Lord with all your heart and do not rely on your own insight or understanding. In all your ways know and acknowledge and recognize Him, and He will make your paths straight and smooth (removing obstacles that block your way).

When it comes to direction and insight into our lives our reasoning will never reach the level of Gods knowledge. It’s like asking directions from a person who has never heard of the street that we are trying to get to. It is vital than to be open to the leading of the Holy Spirit, prayer and know the promises of God for us. Knowledge of God’s will is our directional navigation system.

Mark 11:23

I assure you and most solemnly say to you, whoever says to this mountain, “Be lifted up and thrown into the sea!” and does not doubt in his heart (in God’s unlimited power) but believes that what he says is going to take place, it will be done for him (according to God’s will).

Head faith is mental ascent with doubtful thoughts still plaguing the mind. Heart faith is invested in the word of God and His promises being fully convinced that God means what He says. Sounds simple but it takes knowledge from the word of God and development in our spirits. Faith can only work when it is poured into a vessel without any holes. Doubt, unbelief, and unforgiveness are holes leaking the Faith from the vessel.

Mark 11:25

Whenever you stand praying, if you have anything again anyone, forgive him (drop the issue, let it go) so that your Father who is heaven will also forgive you your transgressions and wrongdoings (against Him and others).

We may have to do a clean sweep of forgiveness in our lives. If we ask the Holy Spirit if we have a need to forgive someone, He will reveal it to us, and it is vital that we do it. We don’t have to have a meeting with the person to forgive them. Just say it out loud and release it. Unforgiveness and hurt doesn’t build our spirits up but leaves damage in our souls and blocks our prayers from being answered.

Mark 11:24

For this reason I am telling you, whatever things you ask for in prayer (in accordance with God’s will), believe (with confident trust) that you have received them, and they will be given to you.

Fully convinced faith knows that word of God is true and receives answers to prayer. Our born again spirit will manifest the promises of God when we believe, fully convinced and have no doubts. The Holy Spirit resides in our hearts and God is with us wherever we go. We have to keep the Words of God before our eyes without distraction and believe.

Hebrews 10:22

Let us approach (God) with a true and sincere heart in unqualified assurance of faith, having had our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed pure with water.

The Holy Spirit is our greatest ally by convicting our hearts. To keep our hearts, clear of an evil conscience we need to pay attention to the prompting of the Holy Spirit. Without a clear conscience our prayers and faith in God will be hindered. When we are diligent in protecting ourselves from the bad influences of the world our faith will not be weakened.

Matthew 11:28-29

Come to Me, all who are weary and heavily burdened (by religious rituals that provide no peace), and I will give you rest. Take My Yoke upon you and learn from Me for I am gentle and humble in heart, and You will find rest for your souls.

People are carrying burdens they were never meant to carry. They are tired, anxious and living lives below God’s best. Jesus took all our burdens and afflictions and what Jesus bore we don’t have to carry. The devil will plague our minds asking us what are we going to do. We are going to cast our burdens on the Lord and trust in faith that Jesus can handle them.

John 14:27

Peace I leave with you; My (perfect) peace I give you; not as the world gives do I give you. Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be afraid. (Let My perfect peace calm you in every circumstance and give you courage and strength for every challenge).

If there isn’t peace in our lives than we are not trusting in the Lord. If we are not sleeping or troubled, we are trying to carry a burden that is for Jesus. When thoughts come to our mind against the word of God and His peace caste them down. Let scripture spoken out loud answer the thoughts.
