1 Peter 2:24

Who His own self bare our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by Whose stripes ye were healed.

The devil would like us to think we are dead men walking. Gods’ word said were HEALED before we ever get sick.  We have the healing, and we take hold of it by faith.  Focus on the word of God and recite the scriptures that say we are healed.  Don’t give up and don’t back down.

Mark 11:25

And when ye stand praying, forgive, if you have ought against any; that you Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.

The devil uses offenses and unforgiveness as a weapon in his arsenal.  He knows if he can get us hurt and offended, he can slow or stop our prayers and blessings.  We have the power of love in our arsenal that has been given to us by God through Jesus.  The offense should become like water off a ducks’ back, and we just shake it off and let love rule the day.

Isaiah 43:26

Put me in remembrance; let us plead together: declare thou, that thou mayest be justified.

When we pray, God says to put Him in remembrance of His word, not because He needs reminding, but for us to remember the promises of God.   By praying the scripture, we are praying specifically for the need.  Our focus is clear and our belief that the promise is ours because the word says so.  We are justified because we are praying, according to the word of God.

Ephesians 6:10

Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.

Our strength must come from the Lord’s power working within us.  We are not designed to travel through this life without help and direction.   There is a significant burden removed from our lives when we remember that God is there with us to give us strength.  We don’t have to feel alone but tap into the power of God inside us.

Mark 11:22

And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.

To have “Faith in God,” we have to trust in something other than our reasoning.  We have to believe that the impossible is achievable, and we don’t have to understand how it is going to get done.  Faith is trusting God with our lives, family, provision, and protection.   Faith is learning to let go and let faith be our servant doing the work on our behalf.

Matthew 17:20 (Message)

“Because you’re not taking God seriously,” said Jesus. “The simple truth is that if you had a mere kernel of faith, a poppy seed, say, you would tell this mountain, ‘Move!’ and it would move. There is nothing you wouldn’t be able to tackle.”

The devil works hard to keep us distracted and out of the word, so he keeps us tired, busy, and disappointed, so our faith remains weak.  Our power, joy, and fulfillment in this life all comes out of the Bible, and the devil knows that.  As a believer, when we notice that our focus is slipping, it is time to focus back on the word and move that mountain.

Mathew 14:30-31

But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying Lord save me.  And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?

Notice that Peter was walking on water with Jesus until he changed his focus.  Suddenly, “he saw the wind boisterous” and isn’t it like the devil to try and make some noise to shift the focus from faith to fear.  Faith is the hammer to fear and keeps us walking with Jesus on the water.  Our focus on Jesus instead of the circumstance is the key to casting down all the distractions sent our way.

Proverbs 16:23

The heart of the wise teacheth his mouth, and addeth learning to his lips.

No one ever listens to a fool, but people do listen to a wise man.  They have a different heart, and their lives produce good things.  The heart of faith speaks faith-filled words from the Bible.  Our confession and the words coming from our mouth reveals our future.  Sometimes we need to think about our goals for this life and line up our confession to match.

Proverbs 6:2

Thou art snared with the words of thy mouth, thou art taken with the words of thy mouth.

Sometimes we say things we don’t mean, and they just pop out of the mouth, but they started with a thought. If the devil can get us to speak a negative thought, he can set laws into motion and make it come to pass.  If he can get us to talk doubt and unbelief, then we get unfulfilled prayers.  The words we speak are essential and can transform our lives and mind.  We just need to be careful to make sure what we are saying is working for us and not against us.

Psalm 119:130

The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple.

We all want a more precise understanding and insight into our lives.  Insight and understanding clear the path and smooths the way forward against the obstacles.  God is always waiting for us to turn to Him for direction so He can send the angels to work on our behalf.  That is what the light of the word does. It opens doors through faith and revelation.
