2 Peter 1:4

By which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

We can have un-Godly desires for money, recognition, power, things, people.  But, God has given us more significant promises for our lives that outshine anything we can dream of here on earth.  These promises allow us to access the divine nature.  The divine nature will cause us to increase and be a success here on earth.

Psalm 119:105

Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.

The bible is an instructional guide on how to live and avoid the pitfalls of life.  We can find all examples of humanity and how their decisions (good or bad) affected their lives.  These examples in the word of God frees us from trying to figure out everything for ourselves.  The word exists to light our path so we can succeed.

Matthew 25:34

Then the King will say to those on His right hand, “Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.”

We have an inheritance through Jesus Christ promised by God.  Be of good cheer no matter what is going on in the world; the word says Jesus Christ has overcome the world.  God loves his people, and we have a reward as faithful followers of Him.

Psalm 33:6

By the word of the Lord the heavens were made, and all the host of them by the breath of His mouth.

God spoke us and this world into being with words.   When we recite the word, we either build up our faith or tear it down.  Our words are so essential to us overcoming every circumstance that may arise and keep the devil under our feet.

Psalm 103:5

Who satisfies your mouth with good things, so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.

What we speak controls the outcome of our lives.  What we believe is reflected in our speech, whether positive or negative.  If we talk faith-filled positive confessions from the bible, we will be satisfied with good things here on earth.

Romans 8:37

Yet in all things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.

A conqueror has a plan.  Our confession should be speaking the plan of success, healing, peace, or whatever we need.  We call those things that be as not as though they are by saying the word over the situation. Please don’t give up on the word; it is power for us here on earth.

Philippians 4:13

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

There will be days when we don’t feel we have enough to make it through.  Jesus never said we had to live this life on our own, and His word will work for us.  We must remind ourselves what the word of God will strengthen us in adversity.  We need to quote scripture out loud so we can renew and strengthen our spirits.

Ephesians 1:13

In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise.

The word of truth is the word of God that brings us to salvation.  Our trust in Jesus and the promises written in the Bible lead us to confidence in our faith.  Our faith that we have an eternal future with Jesus in heaven and the Holy Spirit to guide us on the way.

2 Corinthians 9:8

God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.

When God calls us to do work as a representative, He will also equip us.  If He calls us to talk to someone about being saved, He will give us the words to reach out to that person.  We don’t have to fear that we are not enough because we are not alone.  God will give us the strength and wisdom to accomplish whatever task set before us.

Romans 8:38,39

I am persuaded neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Jesu is our security and the big brother who stood in the gap for us in love to connect to God.  We will not be separated from God’s love by anything on this earth because God had a plan for good for our lives.  Let’s be persuaded in our hearts just like Paul about how much our God loves us.
