Romans 3:22-23

The righteousness of God comes through faith in Jesus Christ for all those (Jews or Gentile) who believe (and trust in Him and acknowledge Him as God’s son). There is no distinction since all have sinned and continually fall short of the glory of God.

The righteousness of God is a gift to us received by our faith in Jesus.  Our relationship with Jesus opens doors that sin had locked shut to us.  We have not plumbed the depths of what that righteousness does for us or the power it contains to keep us safe and change our circumstances.  

Proverbs 16:12 Amp

It is repulsive (to God and man) for kings to behave wickedly, for a throne is established on righteousness (right standing with God)

The book of Kings 1 and 2 shows that man can be evil, yet God is faithful to those who love Him.  God does not support wicked deeds, and those that do evil in power will be rewarded for their evil works.  No matter what is going on in the world, God will take care of His people, who remain faithful to Him.  Just keep the focus on the word, and God will take care of the wicked. 

Proverbs 5:1-2 Amp

My son, be attentive to my wisdom (godly wisdom learned by costly experience), Incline your ear to my understanding: That you may exercise discrimination and discretion (good judgment), And your lips may reserve knowledge and answer wisely (to temptation).

In most cases, a lack of knowledge causes people to error.  We may know to do better in our lives, but we weaken when we fail to be attentive to bible wisdom.  Our hearts and heads need to be filled with the word of God and the knowledge it provides.  The Bible keeps us sharp and aware of the pitfalls so we can avoid them.

John 1:4-5 amp

In him was Life, and the Life was the Light of men.  And the Light shines on in the darkness, for the darkness has never overpowered it (put it out or absorbed it or appropriated it, and is unreceptive to it).

The devil has tried for 6000 years to quench the light of Jesus on this earth and has never, ever accomplished it and never will.  Jesus is the positive life force on this earth, calling to man to be saved.  Jesus became our substitute for our sins so we can be saved from the darkness. We have nothing to fear.   

Luke 12:7 amp

But (even) the very hairs of your head are all numbered.  Do not be struck with fear or seized with alarm; you are of greater worth than many (flocks) of sparrows.  

God loves us so much that the very hairs on our heads are numbered.  He will never leave or forsake His people or His church.  God doesn’t want us to fear but have faith in His ability to keep us safe.  God has the power to change our circumstances for the better when we ask in faith.  

Mark 8:18 amp

Having eyes, do you not see (with them), and having ears, do you not hear and perceive and understand the sense what is said? And do you not remember.

In many ways, the world around us has hardened their hearts to the word of God.  Sin has dimmed the eyes and muffled the hearing.  We must stay alert and keep our eyes and ears open to the word of God so we can hear and see.  The word of God will refresh us and bring living water into our lives.  

Mathew 5:5 amp

Blessed (happy, blithesome, joyous, spiritually prosperous-with life-joy and satisfaction in God’s favor and salvation, regardless of their outward conditions) are the meek (the mild, patient, longsuffering), for they shall inherit the earth.  

The greater knowledge that we gain of God and His word brings about the realization that being meek does not mean weak—from this scripture, being meek means that a person has the full knowledge of God’s promises and is patiently waiting for their fulfillment.  This person has the strength through the word to wait and see the promises of God.

Psalm 37:10-11 amp

For yet a little while, and the evildoers will be no more; though you look with care where they used to be, they will not be found.  But the meek (in the end) shall inherit the earth and delight themselves in the abundance of peace.  

The power of the meek is their faith and trust in God.  The knowledge of their covenant rights and protection that comes from God defeats all evil.  A person who has absolute assurance in God and His word will overcome this world.  Even as the world turns upside God will take care of the meek.  

Proverbs 12:1 amp

Whoever loves instruction and correction loves knowledge, but he who hates reproof is like a brute beast, stupid and indiscriminating.  

God never designed the correction to be a bad thing but to lead us from death to life.  Our lives from childhood to the grave has been designed to thrive on our ability to learn for good.  There is not a person who aims at a target and wants to miss the mark.  That is what instruction and correction from God does by teaching us how to hit a bull size every time.  

Proverbs 15:4 amp

A gentle tongue (with its healing power) is a tree of life, but willful contrariness in it breaks down the spirit.  

The words we speak are like the keys to a treasure chest.  We have the power to proclaim our chest full or empty by the words we speak.  When we are full of the word of God, the creative force will come through our hearts and are spoken out of our mouths.
