Matthew 24:10

At that time many will be offended and repelled (by their association with Me) and will fall away (from the One whom they should trust) and will betray one another (handing over believers to their persecutors) and will hate one another.

Our job in these last days is to build ourselves a foundation in Jesus that cannot move.  We need to keep our eyes clear and focused on the word and be wise to the enemy.  We need to purify our hearts and guard it against any offense.  We need to keep our strength up with the help of the Holy Spirit and always remember we are never alone.

John 16:23

In that day you will not (need to) ask Me about anything.  I assure you and most solemnly say to you, whatever you ask the Father in My name (as My representative), He will give you.

Our faith in Jesus Christ gives us the authority to use His name.  We have the stamp of Jesus on us and inside us, and that makes the devil tremble.  Our part is to ask in faith and not doubting that what we ask for in His name will come to pass.  Faith or believing being fully convinced that God is willing and able to act on our behalf.

Acts 5:19-20

But during the night an angel of the Lord opened the prison doors, and leading them out said, Go, stand and continue to tell the people in the temple (courtyards) the whole message of this Life (the eternal life revealed by Christ and found through Him in faith.)

The born-again believer has been let out of prison! We were once one of the lost with no hope of being free, but God sent Jesus to save our souls.  Just as the apostles were sent out to spread the message, so are we. Our lives represent the possibilities of a life set free of prison if only we believe and proclaim the message.

Ephesians 6:10

In conclusion, be strong in the Lord (draw your strength from Him and be empowered through your union with Him) and in the power of His (boundless) might.

Our strength comes from God daily.  There isn’t a day when we shouldn’t turn to His word to lift ourselves and clear our focus.  Many stresses in life try to pull us away from the love of God but be strong in the Lord.  Don’t try to carry the burden but let God take it for you.

Ephesians 4:17

So this I say, and solemnly affirm together with the Lord (as in His presence), that you must no longer live as the (unbelieving) Gentiles live, in the futility of their minds (and in the foolishness and emptiness of their souls),

Our minds and our spirits war against each other for control of our lives.  The spirit knows infinitely more and is in contact with the Holy Spirit.  The mind knows the reason, the five senses, and is limited.  God wants us to strive to trust in His leading over our mind.  The wisdom of God is limitless and a vital source for our lives to thrive.

Ephesians 2:4-5

But God, being (so very) rich in mercy, because of His great and wonderful love with which He loved us, even when we were (spiritually) dead and separated from Him because of our sins, He made us (spiritually) alive together with Christ.

We have an advantage over the world by being born again and spiritually alive.  We have connected up, and with this connection, we can take advantage of God’s help to avoid worldly pitfalls.  We can talk and fellowship with God and know He cares for us.

Ephesians 1:17

(I always pray) that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may grant you a spirit of wisdom and of revelation (that gives you a deep and personal and intimate insight) into the true knowledge of Him (for we know the Father through the Son).

The more insight and knowledge that we have into God, the greater our trust will be.  The greater the confidence, the more often we will turn to Him for guidance in our lives.  God will then prove Himself a potent force for good in our lives.  The flesh and all the worldly wisdom do not match one word from God.

1 Corinthians 15;51-52

Listen very carefully, I tell you a mystery (a secret truth decreed by God and previously hidden, but now revealed); we will not all sleep (in death), but we will be (completely)changed (wondrously transformed), in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at (the sound of) the last trumpet call.

God has a plan for the church.  A time is coming when we shall be changed and join Jesus in the air at the last trumpet call.  Now is the time to draw closer to God and remove any barriers that got in the way before.  In these last days, we must keep our tanks full on the word because God is coming back for a faithful church.

March 9

1 Corinthians 1:18

For the message of the cross is foolishness (absurd and illogical) to those who are perishing and spiritually dead (because they reject it), but to us who are being saved (by God’s grace) it is (the manifestation of) the power of God.

Have you ever tried to witness to someone and could tell that what you were saying about being saved was being rejected?  Plant the seed anyway.  Just as Jesus was rejected by the world, so shall we be as Christians.  We know the power of God and His word because it was what led us to salvation.  Pray for the door to be open.

Romans 8:28

And we know (with great confidence) that God (who is deeply concerned about us) causes all things to work together (as a plan) for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to His plan and purpose.

We can have confidence in God and His plan for His people.  When God made us, He gifted us to help complete His plans for this world.  The world will continue to go around, and the devil will never stop Jesus from coming back.  We can have confidence and faith in God.
