2 Timothy 1:6

This is why I remind you to fan into flame the gracious gift of God, (that inner fire-the special endowment) which is in you through the laying on of my hands.

We must keep our flame stirred up and red hot for God. The Holy Spirit is within us wherever we go. It is easier to keep a flame burning than to light a cold fire. Our inner light keeps us out of darkness and away from the wrong path, but we must keep it burning.
