Psalm 34:4-5

I sought the Lord (on the authority of His word), and He answered me, and delivered me from all my fears. They looked to Him and were radiant; their faces will never blush in shame or confusion. 

When we use our authority given to us by Jesus, we speak in faith. We speak to God by faith; then we can be assured that He hears us and will answer our prayers.  Before we pray for something, do we pause and consider whether we believe in what we are asking for?
