1 Corinthians 1:9

God is faithful (He is reliable, trustworthy and ever true to His promise- He can be depended on), and through Him you were called into fellowship with His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.

The more we learn about God and that He acts on our behalf, the more we know we can trust Him.  God is waiting to help us daily, even in what we may consider simple.  Love does that, it wants to help, and we will thrive under the care of God as we stay in a close relationship

1 Corinthians 1:6-7

In this way our testimony about Christ was confirmed and established in you, so that you are not lacking in any spiritual gift (which comes from the Holy Spirit), as you eagerly wait (with confident trust) for the revelation of our Lord Jesus Christ (when He returns).

God is on our side and will give us all the spiritual gifts we need to do what God has called us to do.  God will equip His saints here on earth in every task He asks us to do, whether to talk to a stranger about Jesus or pray for someone in need.  God will provide all that we need to complete the task.

Hebrews 11:1-2

Now Faith is the assurance (title deed, confirmation) of things hoped for (divinely guaranteed), and the evidence of things, not seen (the conviction of their reality -faith comprehends as fact what cannot be experienced by the physical senses). For by this (kind of) faith the men of old gained (divine approval).

When we believe by faith, we are taking God at His word.  When we take God at His word, this means we are what God says we are, and we can have what God says we can have and do what God says we can do. We believe and don’t argue with God or doubt His word.  We believe!

Isaiah 54:17

“No weapon that is formed against you will succeed; and every tongue that rises again you in judgment you will condemn.  The (peace, righteousness, security, and triumph over opposition) is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and this is their vindication from Me,” says the Lord.

We have been made righteous through our salvation in Jesus Christ. When the accuser comes knocking at our door, we submit ourselves to the will of God and confess our sins. Next, we will cast down thought that doesn’t align with God’s will. The victory will be ours through Jesus Christ when we fight the good fight of faith and stand on the word of God.

Acts 4:29-30

And now, Lord, observe their threats (take them into account) and grant that Your bond-servants may declare your message (of salvation) with great confidence, while You extend Your hand to heal, and signs and wonders take place through the name (and authority and power) of Your holy Servant and Son Jesus.

Miracles are available to us today in our time of need.  Jesus has the authority and power to heal, redeem and save.  Our salvation opened the door to healing as our spirits are renewed and line up with the word of God.  Healing will come first to our spirit and then manifest in our bodies.

Exodus 15:26

He tested them, saying, “If you will diligently listen and pay attention to the voice of the Lord your God, and do what is right in His sight, and listen to His commandments, and keep (foremost in your thoughts and actively obey) all His precepts and statues, the I will not put on you any of the diseases which I have put on the Egyptians; for I am the Lord who heals you.

Our spirits should lead our minds and thoughts as we diligently pay attention to the voice of the Lord.  If we stray off with ungodly ideas, our minds become more carnal, and it is harder for healing to come. God keeps telling us that where we focus our thoughts is essential.  Healing is ours when we turn our focus to God and believe in Him.

Jeremiah 33:6

Behold, I will bring to it health and healing, and I will heal them; and I will reveal to them an abundance of peace (prosperity, security, stability) and truth.

God is the same yesterday, today, and forever! He will keep His covenant with His people, and healing is one of them. Recovery never went away, and Jesus bore our sickness and diseases on the cross so we don’t have to.  “When our spiritual life is aligned with the word, our bodies will follow.” Kenneth Hagin

Psalm 6:1-3

O Lord, do not rebuke or punish me in Your anger, nor discipline me in Your wrath.  Have mercy on me and be gracious to me, O Lord, for I am weak; heal me, O Lord, for my bones are dismayed and anguished.  My soul is greatly dismayed. But as for You, O Lord – how long (until You act on my behalf)?

When we humble ourselves before God and cry for mercy and help, God will hear us.  When we turn our focus away from the problem and to the answer, we can find relief.  The access to healing came to us at our salvation. Jesus died for it all and bore our sickness and disease.

Isaiah 41:10

Do not fear (anything), for I am with you; do not be afraid for I am your God.  I will strengthen you, be assured I will help you; I will certainly take hold of you with My righteous hand (a hand of justice, of power of victory, of salvation).

Do not fear anything! Fear is a stumbling block to faith and works in the opposite direction of faith. God is all-powerful and all-knowing, so when He says do not fear, we as believers need to trust Him.  If we are struggling to trust Him, it is because we have not developed our faith.

1 Peter 5:6-7

Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, so that He may exalt you (to a place of honor in His service at the appropriate time, casting all your cares (all your anxieties, all your worries, and all your concerns, once and for all) on Him, for He cares about you.

We were never designed to be all-knowing Gods.  The devil will try to keep us in worry because it stops God from being able to move on our behalf.  So we are to be humble before God and understand our role is to believe in God for the answer and act when instructed by the Holy Spirit.  Jesus did the work for us on the cross, and we need to receive it.
