Isaiah 50:7

For the Lord God helps Me, therefore, I have not been ashamed or humiliated. Therefore, I have made My face like flint, and I know that I shall not be put to shame.

Faith comes when we are fully convinced that the Word of God is truth. Believing in truth means that we will not waver or doubt the promise. At this point, we set our faces like flint and steadfast as the lies of circumstance parade before us, and the answer of faith arrives. No need to doubt we have the solution!

Matthew 24:11-13

Many false prophets will appear and mislead many. Because lawlessness is increased, the love of most people will grow cold. But those who endures and bears up (under suffering) to the end will be saved.

As lawlessness increases in our world, we must remind ourselves daily that God is still in control; if God says that love can grow cold and we may need to bear up during hard times, then we need to have a plan. Who will we believe when the world stops doing what is right? When we make God and the Word central to our spiritual strength, we can endure with Jesus.

Matthew 23:25

Woe to you, (self-righteous) scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you clean the outside of the cup and of the plate, but inside they are full of extortion and robbery and self-indulgence (unrestrained greed).

God measures us on our hearts and not our appearance or works. Is our heart faithful to the Word, doing what is right (integrity) in God’s sight? Are we stealing from others and pretending to be Christian? Repent and walk again with the Lord. It is better to examine our hearts and respond to the correction of God than to deny God and our Christian Faith in our hearts. Hell is not the option we want to take.

Matthew 7:16-17

Beware of the false prophets, (teachers) who come to you dressed as sheep (appearing gentle and innocent) but inwardly are ravenous wolves. By their fruit you will recognize them (that is, by their contrived doctrine and self-focus). Do people pick grapes from thorn bushes or figs from thistles.

When we build our knowledge of the Bible, we build up wisdom for understanding the Word preached. We need to be skillful and wise to sound doctrine and teachings to keep to the path of Faith. Not everything we hear is worth listening to, and we should filter according to the inward witness and the Word of God.

Matthew 8:16-17

When evening came, they brought to Him many who were under the power of demons; and He cast out the evil spirits with a word, and restored to health all who were sick, so that He fulfilled what was spoken by the prophet Isaiah: “He Himself took our infirmities (upon Himself) and carried away our diseases.

Healing from Jesus is real and available to us. Jesus redeemed us from the curse of sickness on the cross, and our salvation and belief in Him opens the door to our healing. We don’t need significant qualifications, degrees, money, or friends for healing. We need to believe in the finished works of Jesus Christ.

Psalm 32:8-9

I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you (who are willing to learn) with My eye upon you. Do not be like the horse or like the mule which has no understanding, whose trapping includes bridle and rein to hold them in check, otherwise they will not come near to you.

Our lives are not insignificant when the God of all offers to instruct us how we should go. We are important to God, and our lives have value and substance. We must be willing to learn and lay down any pride, fear, and doubt toward God. It is our choice to be led by God and our intention to learn.

Psalm 32:5

I acknowledge my sin to You, and I did not hide my wickedness; I said, “I will confess (all)

my transgressions to the Lord”; and You forgave the guilt of my sin.

We will make mistakes! Confess the sin get out of the ditch, and resume the walk with God. Change the thinking, friends, and environment but change whatever must be removed to avoid repeating the sin. God will help when we ask for help.

Psalm 28:7

The Lord is my strength and my (impenetrable) shield; my heart trusts (with unwavering confidence) in Him, and I am helped; therefore my heart greatly rejoices, and with my song I shall thank Him and praise Him.

With practice and commitment to studying God’s Word, we will boldly proclaim our trust in the Word of God. The Faith that grows and trusts in God with an unwavering heart. Faith doesn’t worry about what it can’t control because it already understands God is all-powerful.

Ecclesiastes 11:4

He who watches the wind (waiting for all conditions to be perfect) will not sow (seed), and he who looks at the clouds will not reap (a harvest).

When it comes to God’s leading, we are to react in Faith. Our minds will devise why we cannot when God says we can. Reasoning and fear will be a downfall, and we will miss out on blessings from God. Faith is now, and God’s promises require Faith to be achieved.

Ecclesiastes 8:12

Though a sinner does evil a hundred times and his life (seemingly) is prolonged (in spite of his wickedness), still I know that it will be well with those who (reverently) fear God, who fear and worship Him openly (realizing His omnipresence and His power).

When wickedness increases, our focus should be on the promises of God. Our salvation will lead us to eternity with God surrounded by His love. The sinner may profit for a time, but unfortunately, their days will end in torment. We are not with God for momentary gain but for the long-term relationship in Heaven.
