Psalm 40:13

Be pleased, O Lord, to save me; O Lord, make haste to help me. Let those be ashamed and humiliated together Who seek my life to destroy it; let those be turned back (in defeat) and dishonored.

God hears and answers prayers for protection! It takes one look at the news to know that evil is prevalent and seeking who it can devour. Our job is to pray protection over ourselves to avoid pitfalls and traps. Get in the habit of reciting Psalm 91 every day and thank the Lord for His hand of protection to be upon you.

2 Corinthians 13:14

Finally, believers, rejoice! Be made complete, be comforted, be like-minded, live in peace (enjoy the spiritual well-being experienced by believers who walk closely with God), and the God of love and peace will be with you.

God, from the beginning, wanted to walk closely and fellowship with us. If we are looking for what completes our lives, it is God. The close relationship with God opens the door for communication and guidance for us and fills the gaps we may have in our hearts.

John 16:33

I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation and distress and suffering, but be courageous; I have overcome the world.

We may not be able to control our circumstances, but we can control our attitude. Our attitude and peace go together if we trust the Lord and seek Jesus at all times. Peace means we trust God, who is bigger than the circumstance. If we want to see changes in our lives, focus on Jesus, who has overcome the world.

Zechariah 7:9-10

Thus has the Lord of hosts said, ‘Dispense true justice and practice kindness and compassion, to each other; and do not oppress or exploit the widow or the fatherless, the stranger or the poor; and do not devise or even imagine evil in your hearts against one another.

The scripture covers all of what can go wrong in a person’s heart unless we keep guard. It may be a battle sometimes, but when we concentrate on what is good in the word of God, our gate remains firmly locked to wrong thinking. Our persistence’s in thinking only good for others will pay off, and strife, anger, and frustration not worth our time.

Isaiah 53:5

Be He was wounded for our transgressions, he was crushed for our wickedness (our sin, our injustice, our wrongdoing); the punishment (required) for our well-being fell on Him, and by His stripes we are healed.

The devil wants us to think we have to pay the price for sin, but we need to remind him that Jesus paid it already. We don’t have to bear what Jesus already bore with His wounds on the cross. We speak the words of the bible out loud. We remind the devil of the power and authority of our God in and over our lives.

Isaiah 41:10

Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be afraid, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, be assured I will help you; I will certainly take hold of you with My righteous right hand.

When we get into the habit of turning to God in every circumstance, we will know God has a way for us to make it through. No matter what it is, there is nothing too hard for God. God is the source of our strength, and be assured when we call on God, and help will come.

Proverbs 12:18

There is one who speaks rashly like the thrusts of a sword, but the tongue of the wise brings healing.

Our words are like the thrusters to the rocket, depending on how they are used. Our words drive our lives to be successful or trouble. If we constantly repeat the circumstance and not the solution from the word of God, we will fail. We have to guard what we think and what we say.

Psalm 147:3

He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds (healing their pain and comforting their sorrow).

God is the healer of our broken hearts binding up our wounds and helping us move forward. The devil sends pain and sorrow to stop our lives to keep us from fulfilling the plan of God. When we use our authority, turn to God, and call on Him to heal us, we can be restored.

Mark 5:34

Then He said to her, “Daughter, your faith (your personal trust and confidence in Me) has restored you to health; go in peace and be (permanently) healed from your suffering.”

When we decide to be fully convinced that God’s word is true about healing, healing will come. Whether it be by miracle or medicine, we use God’s wisdom. Our faith focuses on revealing the truth of the word as we concentrate on the word and not the world.

Revelation 21:4

And He will wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there will be no longer be death; there will no longer be sorrow and anguish, or crying, or pain; for the former order of things has passed away.

God, from the beginning, set out a plan to bring His family back into the fold. He sent the Holy Spirit, and He gave us the bible because God knew life would contain trials and we would need comfort and guidance. We can take comfort knowing that Jesus is coming back and will change this world and will remove sin.
