Philippians 4:8
Finally, believers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable and worthy of respect, whatever is right and confirmed by God’s Word, whatever is pure and wholesome, whatever is lovely and brings peace, whatever is admirable and of good repute; if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think continually on these things.
If we are to stand in the day of hardship, our thinking must be correct. We can’t be double-minded, harboring ungodly thoughts, and then expect ourselves to have world-overcoming faith in the Word. Where we focus our eyes, ears, and minds either builds us up or tears us down. If we want to succeed, we should keep our thoughts on the truth of the Word of God.
