Ephesians 6:18

With all prayers and petitions pray (with specific requests) at all times (on every occasion and in every season) in the Spirit, and with this in view, stay alert with all perseverance and petition (interceding in prayer) for all God’s people.

Prayer needs to be specific and focused. We can’t pray a random prayer and expect a particular answer. God must work through people, and it may take time to find people willing to do what He is asking. Don’t give up and let the devil say it isn’t working. We must keep interceding in prayer for ourselves and God’s people.
