Isaiah 26:3

You will keep in perfect and constant peace the one whose mind is steadfast (that is, committed and focused on You-in both inclination and character) because he trusts and takes refuge in You (with hope and confident expectation).

Peace only comes when pursued. Rejecting the world’s noisy strife, whispers, and contentions brings peace. If we let them, our minds may ruminate on offences influenced by the enemy. But rest and peace in God are the greater gain, drawing us closer to Him.
