2 Corinthians 10:4-5

The weapons of our warfare are not physical. Our weapons are divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses. We are destroying sophisticated arguments and every exalted and proud thing that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought and purpose captive to the obedience of Christ.

The enemy will attack our minds with thoughts contrary to the word of God. We are to take those thoughts captive! How are we to respond to those thoughts by using the word and submitting ourselves to God’s will, resisting in the name of Jesus? We don’t have to sit there and be bombarded; we can use our authority, and the devil will flee.
