Lamentations 3:22-23

It is because of the Lord’s lovingkindness that we are not consumed, because His (tender) compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great and beyond measure is Your faithfulness. 

God sees our potential for greatness in His kingdom. His loving kindness calls us to walk with Him and be His children. When we choose to walk in the ways of God, we will not be consumed by the evils of this world. God is faithful even when we are unfaithful. He doesn’t waver in compassion but waits for us to turn and be saved.
