1 Peter 3:10-11

The one who wants to enjoy life and see good days (good whether apparent or not), must keep his tongue free from evil and his lips from speaking guile (treachery, deceit). He must turn away from wickedness and do what is right. He must search for peace (with God, with self, with others) and pursue it eagerly (actively-not merely desiring it).

We must actively seek peace in our lives, and it begins with us, our hearts, and attitudes. Reaping and sowing apply to the peace in our lives. If we are active with strife in our hearts, we will be active with sowing strife with others. Our thoughts will motivate us to do good to others or do evil. Suppose we think evil, anger, or revenge toward others; eventually, it will come out of our mouths and our actions. Diligently seek and pursue peace!
