James 3:10

Out of the same mouth come both blessing and cursing. These things, my brothers, should not be this way (for we have a moral obligation to speak in the manner that reflects our fear of God and profound respect for His precepts).

If we read our Bibles and speak encouragement to ourselves and others, our words add value to our lives and those around us. If we are constantly complaining, arguing, and fighting with others, then we have an issue in our hearts. We are responsible for our own words and actions, and we must show respect to God and His rules for our behavior and thoughts.
