Psalm 10-12

Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right and steadfast spirit within me. Do not cast me away from Your presence and do not take Your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of Your salvation and sustain me with a willing spirit. 

Focusing and attending to God’s word is essential, but it can be difficult if our spirits are tired and worn. If we pray to the Lord to renew our hearts and spirits, He will help us. Restoring the joy of salvation will relight our spiritual fire. When we rekindle the fire of our hearts, God will sustain us no matter what happens in the world.
