Jude 1:20-21

But you, beloved, build yourselves up on (the foundation of) you most holy faith (continually progress, rise like an edifice higher and higher) pray in the Holy Spirit, and keep yourselves in the love of God, waiting anxiously and looking forward to the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to eternal life.  

We are to build ourselves up with a foundation of faith so that when the pressure comes, we are not affected.  The Holy Spirit can lead us through all troubles when our spirits are submitted and attentive to His guidance.  When we keep ourselves in the love of God and keep the heart pure with the word, pressure is no match for the power of God.
