Proverbs 18:20-21

A man’s stomach will be satisfied with the fruit of his mouth; he will be satisfied with the consequences of his words. Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it and indulge it will eat its fruit and bear the consequences of their words.  

The deeper the study of the word, the more we realize the power of what we speak. What we say reflects our heart’s beliefs, whether good or bad. If a change needs to come into our life, we must start with our hearts and change our speaking. When we line our spirits up with the word of God, we will experience dramatic changes in our life.
